Arendalsuka

Vebjørn Andersson of AI-Mind’s project partner OUS will represent the AI-Mind consortium and participate in Arendalsuka – an annual national forum in Norway. He will present the project and participate in a panel discussion on the topic: Community mission Alzheimer’s – New knowledge and early treatment can improve lives

During this event, you will learn what the difference is between Alzheimer’s disease and Alzheimer’s dementia and meet both patients, relatives and experts who show how early intervention can improve quality of life. The event will dive into next-generation diagnostics and treatment, and look at how Norwegian municipalities and hospitals should prepare for precision medicine for Alzheimer’s. What is to learn from the cancer field?

Finally, the panel of experts will take up the political debate: Is Norway ready to invest in early diagnostics, secure Norwegian health data and give the right patients access to treatment?
