AI-Mind Share: A Knowledge Hub for Raising Awareness and Sharing Dementia Research

To mark Brain Awareness Week 2025, a global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research,  AI-Mind launched “AI-Mind Share”, an open-access knowledge platform designed to support dementia research and community through diffusing project outcomes. The platform is now live at www.ai-mind.eu/share and can also be accessed via the main page and the “Outcomes” tab on the main menu bar.

AI-Mind Share brings together a curated selection of knowledge developed within the AI-Mind project, offering valuable resources to researchers, clinicians, artificial intelligence (AI) experts, policymakers, and the wider public. With a focus on mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and the use of AI for dementia risk prediction, the platform promotes the exchange of information on clinical, technological, ethical and societal aspects of AI in healthcare.

The platform is structured around six thematic areas:

  • Medical Expertise – Insights into dementia, MCI, diagnosis, and risk factors, including publications, as well as brain screening methods and clinical practice.
  • Ethics and trustworthiness – Reflections on the responsible development and deployment of AI technologies in the context of brain health.
  • Data Governance – A focus on managing data securely and ethically, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and safeguarding patient rights.
  • AI technology and engineering – Technical foundations of the AI-Mind solutions, offering insights into system design and tool development.
  • Societal Decision-Making – Insights into Health Technology Assessment providing access to an interactive model that helps assess the potential costs and benefits of using dementia risk prediction tools in healthcare systems.
  • Other resources –  A diverse collection of resources that touch upon different topics and provide complementary information to other knowledge toolboxes.

Each section includes a glossary for easier navigation, as well as links to scientific outputs and practical resources, including publications, public deliverables, and educational materials such as webinars and presentations. The user-friendly layout ensures that professionals and interested stakeholders alike can explore the content at their own pace.

Throughout #BrainAwarenessWeek, AI-Mind celebrated the launch with a series of short videos, published on social media, introducing the platform and highlighting its features. The final video introduced the societal decision-making tool, encouraging users to explore how evidence-based policy and clinical strategies can shape the future of dementia prevention.

AI-Mind Share exemplifies the project’s commitment to open science, interdisciplinary collaboration, and digital innovation in brain health. We invite you to explore the platform and share it within your networks.
