AI-Mind Joined Strategic Workshop on Multimodal Health Data Integration

On 24 September, AI-Mind participated in a Strategic Workshop on the challenges of multimodal health data integration, alongside fellow EU-funded projects HEREDITARY, NextGen, and COMFORTage. The event, organised by these three projects, provided a platform for discussing shared technical, clinical, and policy topics.

The AI-Mind coordinator was invited to join the workshop, which focused on developing synergies between the projects, enhancing collaboration in line with the European Commission’s strong encouragement for networking and joint activities. This initiative follows a Networking Meeting for Horizon Europe Health projects, hosted by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) earlier this summer.

Workshops like these are vital for advancing the EU’s health goals, particularly in fostering innovation and collaboration across projects tackling similar challenges. By bringing together diverse expertise and perspectives, these events enable projects to pool resources, share knowledge, and address common obstacles more efficiently. In the context of multimodal health data integration, such collaboration is crucial for accelerating the development of innovative healthcare solutions, ensuring interoperability, and ultimately improving patient outcomes across Europe. These efforts align with the EU’s vision for a more connected and digitised healthcare system, driving progress in precision medicine and personalised care.
