Explore the Groundbreaking HTA in AI-Mind at the HTAi 2023 conference

Discover the role of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) in the AI-Mind project by joining us at the HTAi Annual Meeting 2023 in Adelaide, Australia!

The event is an excellent opportunity for all participants to delve into the world of HTA.

Thanks to our esteemed partners from the AI Unit of the Advanced Graduate School of Health Economics and Management (ALTEMS), participants will get insights into the HTA framework applied in AI-Mind to optimise the clinical value of AI-based tools for dementia risk prediction developed in the project.

Here’s a sneak peek at the sessions where the AI-Mind project will be presented:

📅 Workshop: “HTA of Artificial Intelligence: Experiences and Challenges” (Sunday, June 25, 8:30 – 12:00)
In this immersive workshop, AI-Mind partners will explore the exciting advancements in HTA and delve into the opportunities and challenges it brings to the world of artificial intelligence. Participants will discover how HTA plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare.

📅 Panel: “HTA in Medical Devices” (Monday, June 26, 13:15 – 14:30, room Riverbank 5)
In this engaging panel discussion, AI-Mind partners will showcase how HTA serves as the cornerstone in evaluating the clinical efficacy, safety, and cost-effectiveness of AI-Mind tools as medical devices. Participants will gain valuable insights into the integration of HTA in medical technology assessment.

📅 Session: “Advancing HTA for Global Health: Insights and Roadmaps” (Tuesday, June 27, 17:30 – 18:30, room E1)
In this session, AI-Mind partners will explore how HTA is advancing healthcare on a global scale and uncover insights and roadmaps for future developments. The final results of the Delphi survey to define a HTA framework for AI-based technologies – conducted in AI-Mind – will be shown. It’s a must-attend session for anyone passionate about the intersection of HTA, global health and technological innovation.

The HTA in AI-Mind serves as a vital component, completing the framework of our cutting-edge initiative. By conducting HTA at an early stage of product development, we gather valuable information that optimizes the clinical value of the AI-Mind tools. With the expertise brought by our partners from the Radboud University Medical Centre and ALTEMS, we ensure that we harness the true potential of artificial intelligence in revolutionizing dementia prevention.
