The course will be held in Norwegian.

The course is dedicated to general practitioners (GP) to provide them with hands-on knowledge on how to meet and treat patients with cognitive impairment and how to optimise the person’s health before progressing to dementia. The course focuses on methods that can be used in a doctor’s office, while also providing insight into future solutions.

During the course, you will learn not only about the causes of dementia and how the disease affects people in Norway but also what challenges we face. Next to that, we will share insights into possible digital solutions to address the challenge in the future. The course also includes practical exercises that a GP can use in diagnosing and treating patients with cognitive impairment. Furthermore,  experts will give tips on methods you can introduce to ease your workload during a hectic working day.

The course is organised by the Norwegian-coordinated study AI-Mind at Oslo University Hospital together with experts in geriatrics, general medicine, neuropsychology and digitalisation.
