SUMMARY:AI-Mind session at Alzheimer Europe Conference 2025
DESCRIPTION:The AI-Mind featured session: AI-Mind at the Finnish Line: Advancing Trustworthy and Scalable Clinical AI for Early Dementia Risk Detection at 35th Alzheimer Europe Conference.\n\nWhen? Wednesday, 8 October, 2025\nWhat time? 14:00-15:15\nWhere? Bologna Congress Centre ( https://www.bolognacongresscenter.com/en/ ), Room Bianca\n\nAs the project approaches its conclusion, this session will showcase key outcomes and strategic insights from four years of European collaboration dedicated to developing Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven tools for the early detection of dementia. Drawing from the AI-Mind cohort and the broader ambitions of the EURO-TWIN initiative, the session will provide a comprehensive perspective on how AI can be responsibly and effectively embedded within clinical and regulatory frameworks.\n\n\nAI-Mind session at #AEC 2025 by accelopment Schweiz AG\nThe session will unfold through four thematic contributions:\nKey figures and clinical implementation insights – Christoffer Hatlestad-Hall will present key figures from the AI-Mind study and insights learned from deploying the AI-Mind protocol, highlighting the foundational elements required for future clinical integration.\nTechnological Transformation – Lukas Gemein on behalf of the AI-Mind computational team will demonstrate the transformative potential of AI in cognitive healthcare, advocating for its practical adoption in clinical workflows as both necessary and achievable.\nRegulatory Readiness – A deep dive into how AI-powered medical tools can align with European regulatory standards, with a focus on building trust through transparency, accountability, and compliance.\nReal-World Clinical Adoption – a health practitioner’s perspective on the relevance of AI-Mind solutions for general hospitals and local communities, emphasising the critical need for cross-sector collaboration over isolated innovation.\nModerated by Ira Haraldsen, this session will also consider the broader implications for sustainable innovation in dementia diagnostics. It will conclude with a forward-looking discussion on how initiatives such as EURO-TWIN aim to build on AI-Mind’s achievements, scaling towards next-generation, personalised virtual health twin technologies to support stratified interventions for cognitive decline.\nMore information about the conference: www.alzheimer-europe.org/conferences/2025-bologna/ ( https://www.alzheimer-europe.org/conferences/2025-bologna/ )\n
